Senior Director, Events Marketing

C3 AiRedwood City, CA

About The Position

C3 AI is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented events leader to own our global event portfolio — from our flagship annual conference to executive briefings and industry events. This is a high-visibility role that combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, and requires comfort operating at both the whiteboard and the loading dock. You'll lead the strategy, budget, and team behind C3 AI's proprietary events and our presence at industry and partner events — all while identifying ways to scale and professionalize how we run events as the company grows. Success requires sharp communication skills, rigorous project management, and real experience managing enterprise-scale events with senior executives and Global 2000 stakeholders in the room.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 15+ years managing corporate and/or agency event programs; enterprise tech experience strongly preferred
  • Track record leading global, executive-level events with Global 2000 stakeholders
  • Strong executive presence and written/verbal communication skills
  • Proven project management skills across multiple concurrent, complex programs
  • Analytical mindset — comfortable defining metrics, analyzing data, and tying event performance to pipeline
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft 365, and event/marketing tools (e.g., Marketo, Cvent)
  • Willingness to travel, work occasional evenings/weekends, and pitch in on physical event setup/teardown
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Set corporate event strategy across C3 AI's portfolio, partnering with Sales, Product, and other internal teams to align events with business priorities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership on event strategy, providing recommendations on where and how C3 AI should show up
  • Build and maintain a repeatable playbook for event planning and execution to support consistency as the program scales
  • Own end-to-end delivery of proprietary executive events: messaging, logistics, branding, collateral, vendor management, and timelines
  • Manage the corporate and field event budget, including contract negotiation and external vendor relationships
  • Write executive briefings and prepare budget/status updates for leadership approval
  • Track event performance in CRM, produce a scorecard per event, and report on campaign effectiveness against pipeline and engagement goals

Benefits

  • competitive compensation package
  • generous equity plan
