About The Position

The Senior Director, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Transformation role is a Senior Director-level role that collaborates across Commercial, GPS, R&D, G&A, BIT and the Business Integrator. This role serves as the enterprise owner of the Planning Process Design & EPM Implementation program, one of the priority workstreams of the GBO Data, Tech & AI Roadmap. This person is responsible for aligning EPM & Planning implementation, process redesign, and the broader GBO Data and Reporting strategies into one cohesive vision. The Senior Director is expected to drive outcomes across a program with no established playbook, adapting the approach as the roadmap evolves from 2026 through 2028 and beyond.

Requirements

  • Minimum education of a BS/BA is required; MBA is preferred. CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive Finance, FP&A, or EPM/business transformation experience is required.
  • Track record building and leading cross-functional, matrixed teams without direct authority.
  • Experience leading change management and stakeholder engagement across a large matrix enterprise.

  • MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end accountability for the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) & Planning workstream of the GBO Rewiring roadmap including Touchless Forecast, Process Design and EPM Implementation, replacing Hyperion with a modern, cloud-based EPM platform with embedded AI.
  • Set the governance structure, cadence, and decision rights across the Leadership Team, Core Leads, BIT, Data & Process SMEs, and the Business Integrator keeping Culture, Talent, Change Management & governance as the foundation through every phase.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for the implementation program, holding the Business Integrator and internal teams accountable to the agreed design, build, test, and deployment plan.
  • Champion the vision: actively advocate for the roadmap within Finance and GBO leadership circles and reinforce why the EPM & Planning program matters for achieving enterprise goals.
  • Think and act as an enterprise owner, connecting the Planning Process Design workstream to the GBO Data Strategy, GBO Reporting Strategy, and the wider GBO Data, Tech & AI roadmap so decisions in one stream serve the full enterprise.
  • Operate with dynamism and adaptability given no pre-existing playbook exists for this project; build the operating model in real time, adjusting scope, sequencing, or approach as new requirements, dependencies, or risks emerge across the multi-year roadmap.
  • Remove roadblocks, resolve escalations, and validate that program outcomes remain tied to scope, timing, funding, and the agreed support model, in close partnership with the Business Integrator.
  • Provide regular status updates to the GBO Leadership Team and represent the program to executive stakeholders, including progress against the target of moving BMS toward Digital World-Class planning capabilities.

Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
