About The Position

Attalon is undergoing significant transformation and growth, driving modernization across its manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and commercial operations. This role will play a key part in enabling scalable systems, enterprise data visibility, and operational excellence across a multi‑site, regulated environment. The Senior Director will lead the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of enterprise business applications, reporting and analytics, vendor management, IT financial governance, and the IT Program Management Office (PMO). This role ensures that technology solutions are aligned with business objectives, cost‑effective, scalable, and positioned to support Attalon’s transformation. This is a highly engaged leadership role that blends strategic ownership with hands‑on oversight. The Senior Director will optimize manufacturing and operational processes, scale program delivery across geographically distributed sites, and partner closely with Finance, Operations, Engineering/R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams. This position reports to the Chief Information Officer. Location: U.S.-remote with travel as needed. Preferred locations include California, Philadelphia, Bloomfield, and Longmont.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles with ownership of enterprise applications, reporting, and PMO functions.
  • 7+ years of senior-level leadership experience with demonstrated strengths in strategic planning, communication, organizational effectiveness, and team development.
  • Proven success leading ERP and large‑scale system implementations and optimization efforts.
  • Hands‑on experience performing application configuration, development, and administration.
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800‑171, NIST 800‑53, and CMMC.
  • Experience with IFS Cloud, IFS 10, PowerBI, PLM/MES/CRM systems, or other enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and respond effectively to changing priorities.
  • Strong executive‑level communication and ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, TOGAF).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, SaaS, and integration technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy, delivery, and operations for business applications, reporting/analytics, vendor management, IT financial governance, and PMO functions.
  • Partner with the Senior Director of IT Transformation to implement the IFS ERP consolidation, defining the operating model, support framework, and end‑to‑end process/data/reporting solutions.
  • Establish standards for requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and change management, ensuring cybersecurity and data integrity are embedded.
  • Drive process optimization across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering to reduce manual work and improve data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Own the full application lifecycle (strategy → delivery → run), including vendor relationships, SLAs/OLAs, release/change management, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee system interoperability and integrations to enable seamless business processes.
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and lifecycle management through patching, upgrades, and security updates.
  • Lead configuration, enhancements, and support of IFS Cloud ERP, including modules across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering.
  • Perform hands‑on setup, business rules, workflows, integrations, user support, and troubleshooting.
  • Build and maintain ERP extensions, reports, APIs, and integrations with infrastructure and security partners.
  • Execute system patches, upgrades, regression testing, and release management.
  • Partner with process owners to improve data quality and optimize end‑to‑end workflows.
  • Develop dashboards, operational KPIs, and self‑service reporting across ERP and related systems.
  • Establish foundational data governance, including standards, quality controls, and stewardship roles.
  • Manage ERP/application vendors to ensure SLA/OLA compliance and effective delivery.
  • Support budget planning, cost transparency, and ROI tracking for application investments.
  • Lead the IT PMO, including enterprise prioritization, resource planning, and investment governance.
  • Drive portfolio transparency with standardized reporting of scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
  • Travel up to ~30%, with additional flexibility during critical program phases.
