The Sr. Director of EHS is responsible for ensuring overall compliance with corporate, local, and client occupational safety and health regulations and procedures. Responsibilities include building support through aligning with operations to develop a vision and strategy to enhance our Care for Life Value. Reporting to the National Vice President of EHS, this position will focus on continuous improvement, the development of EHS team members, and best practices. This position will spend 50% supporting projects nationally and 50% working remotely.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in a role assigned to the identification of safety hazards and recommending appropriate controls
  • 12+ years of experience in a safety role that required communication with employees at all levels in a construction environment
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • 4+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • 4+ years of experience collaborating with senior leadership to develop strategic health and safety goals and implementation plans
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety management, engineering, or equivalent or 12 years of safety experience
