The Senior Director, Ebola Response will provide strategic leadership and oversight for MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience's (MIHR) $27 million Ebola response portfolio across multiple countries, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), South Sudan, Burundi, and other affected areas. This role will contribute to MIHR's Intermediate Result (IR) 3: Improved Adaptive Management to Prevent, Detect, and Respond to Health Emergencies. Through this work, the Ebola response initiative will support efforts to rapidly contain and reduce Ebola virus disease (EVD) transmission within affected countries while mitigating the risk of cross-border spread to neighboring nations. Reporting to the MIHR Project Director, the Senior Director, Ebola Response will lead the scale-up and implementation of response activities, ensuring alignment with U.S. Department of State Global Health Security and Diplomacy (DoS/GHSD) priorities and objectives. The role is responsible for providing overall programmatic leadership, monitoring implementation progress, coordinating across MIHR teams and Corus Technical and Program Business Units (TBUs and PBUs), managing stakeholder engagement, and preparing reports and strategic updates for DoS/GHSD and other key stakeholders.
