About The Position

OCI’s AI Infrastructure organization is building provisioning, repair, monitoring, maintenance, configuration, and validation systems to deliver high-quality GPU clusters and operate them with high availability. These systems handle firmware management for GPUs and high-speed backend NICs, automated validation for GPU servers, and GPU specialization on top of the general compute data plane. The Senior Director will lead the software development organization building and operating these systems, working with major players in the AI space on systems designed for unprecedented speed, scale, and reliability. The role calls for a systems specialist with exposure to low-level drivers and firmware, knowledge of repair systems, and the ability to architect broad system interactions while remaining hands-on and able to dive into stack components and lower-level system interactions. The successful candidate values simplicity and scale, works comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and is excited to learn.
