Senior Director, Cardiometabolic Health Communications

Eli Lilly and CompanyUs, IN

About The Position

At Lilly, the work is demanding because patients are waiting. We unite caring with discovery to help make life better for people around the world, knowing that every decision, every detail, and every day matters. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, our over 50,000 employees around the globe take on complex challenges to discover and deliver life-changing medicines, strengthen how health is understood and managed, and support the communities we serve. This is hard, urgent, selfless work—but it’s work worth doing. If you’re driven by purpose and ready to bring your best to work that truly matters for patients, we invite you to join us. The Senior Director leads external communications for Lilly's on-market cardiometabolic medicines — currently Mounjaro (tirzepatide for type 2 diabetes), Zepbound (tirzepatide for obesity), and Foundayo (orforglipron for obesity) — as well as new indications and label expansions as they are approved. This role owns the consumer obesity communications strategy, which is a defining capability of the CMH Communications team, and leads global communications for all approved products, including coordination with international affiliates across 40+ markets. This is a high-visibility, high-velocity role that requires both strategic vision and the ability to move fast. The Senior Director must be as comfortable shaping a long-term consumer narrative as they are managing an emerging media issue — and must actively contribute across the broader CMH Communications team as priorities shift.
