About The Position

Join our Walmart Optical team and focus on driving strategic expansion and innovation across the Optical business. You will lead programs to broaden access to eye care services and prescriptions through diversified channels, accelerating business performance and positioning the organization as a leader in accessible, technology-enabled optical care. You will work from our Bentonville, AR offices and report to the Vice President of Optical for Walmart U.S. About The Optical team: The Optical team at Walmart is dedicated to delivering exceptional vision care solutions that are accessible and affordable. Requirements

  • A combination of strategic foresight, cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on customer and associate needs
  • Experience building and managing strategic partnerships with insurers, vendors, and technology providers
  • Proven success leading innovation pipelines - from concept development through pilot testing, evaluation, and scale-up
  • Understanding of the optical ecosystem, including retail optical operations, optometry practice models, lens manufacturing, and managed vision care
  • You build trust quickly and can lead by creating impact through partnership as well as ownership
  • 10+ years' experience working in Optical retail, healthcare business strategy, or related field
  • 7+ years' experience leading business strategy and innovation from ideation through execution
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 7 years' experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 9 years' experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area.
  • 3 years' supervisory experience.
