Sr Direct Support Professional (2nd Shift Full Time)
About The Position
We are hiring a Senior Direct Support Professional for our Lakeside Program in Monroeville, NJ. This role involves empowering individuals with autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities to reach their highest potential. As a Senior DSP, you will provide supervision, guidance, instruction, and skill-building in daily living activities, safety, vocational activities, and social interaction. You will also supervise direct care staff and manage program site activities in the absence of the Program Manager. This is a full-time, onsite position with the 2nd shift. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of related work experience, or a minimum of 6 months experience as a Program Associate in the Bancroft organization required.
Nice To Haves
- Additional education in a related field desirable.
- BA in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides supervision, guidance, instruction, and/or skill building to assigned persons served within a specific Program site regarding daily living activities, safety, vocational activities, and interaction with others.
- Provides supervision to direct care staff and is in charge of Program site activities in absence of Program Manager.
