Senior Dining Manager (LTE)
About The Position
Waukesha County Health & Human Services is seeking a caring individual to organize and supervise the serving of meals and the delivery of Meals on Wheels to local seniors. This role is perfect for those who are newly retired, stay-at-home parents, or individuals looking to contribute to their community. The position involves growing or sharing leadership skills by assisting with and overseeing the work of volunteers. The need is for substitute/on-call coverage for absences and scheduled time off for the regular dining center managers. Ideal candidates will be able to travel throughout Waukesha County to all 6 County senior dining centers as needed. Typical work hours are 9:30 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday. No holidays or weekends.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation, ServSafe, or program-specific training certification upon hire or within ninety (90) days of hire.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- One year of work or volunteer experience working with the elderly.
- Work experience in the preparation and serving of food.
