The successful candidate will join the Caterpillar IT GCIO DT&D organization as a key contributor responsible for facilitating the operations of an Agile framework with 1-3 teams while embracing the principles of the framework and the Agile Mindset in support of the new modern, cloud-based Global Warranty Management solution. You will help teams reach their highest performance level in the execution of workstreams. This role will provide expertise, leadership, mentorship, coaching, consulting, training, and/or facilitation in support of Business Agility across the enterprise. Be part of a transformational program that streamlines dealer and business partner processes, accelerates and increases transparency in warranty experiences, and delivers actionable insights that drive product quality improvements and long-term profitability. You will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic change as we transition legacy systems to modern, cloud-based solutions via Agile software development.

Requirements

Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. Level Expert: Champions the use and development of new techniques of business analysis for meeting the ever-changing business requirements. Creates a metric system for evaluating the performance of specific business analysis tools and techniques in the organization. Establishes internal best practices, guidelines, and procedures for performing business analysis of projects. Monitors industry and marketplace trends and directions of business analysis techniques and tools. Promotes leveraging business analysis techniques organization-wide for better business results and performance. Trains others on ways to achieve optimum business analysis results.

Software Engineering: Knowledge of software engineering; ability to deliver new or enhanced fee-based software products. Responsibilities

Planning, scheduling, and facilitating Agile events.
Fostering an environment of self-organization, high visibility, ownership, and continuous improvement with the team.
Coaching the Agile team into an understanding of the values, artifacts, and objectives of the operating framework with a lean mindset.
Working with the product owner/service request manager and stakeholders to ensure value is always being generated by the team's work.
Becoming a champion of removing blockers and impediments to the teams’ progress, while facilitating the reduction of decision latency with clear and constant communication and attention.
Helping the team to capture and aggregate data is useful to the team's development, as well as providing management information that will inform strategic decisions.
