About The Position

Dependency Management is an enterprise-wide process to request, develop, and control dealer asks of Caterpillar to achieve agreed upon growth goals. The Product Owner will help define the vision and roadmap for the system that enables and reports on these dependencies. Your Work Shapes the World at Caterpillar Inc. Requirements

Extensive understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively convey complex concepts to a range of different stakeholder types.
Working knowledge in identifying business needs, and bring data-driven mindset to quantify and prioritize; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.
Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

Nice To Haves

Enterprise Perspective – experience with and understanding multiple areas of the business including their strategy, goals, and operations.
Data Visualization – experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
