About The Position

Hims & Hers is seeking a highly collaborative, AI-forward Senior Digital Designer to spearhead design initiatives for Organic Growth. This role involves partnering with Integrated Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Brand to create conversion-driven customer experiences for major campaign launches, category storytelling, subscriber touchpoints, and scalable web systems. The ideal candidate thrives in high-velocity environments, possesses strong visual and communication skills, and has a meticulous, detail-oriented approach. This hands-on position requires comfort with both strategic thinking and tactical execution, including building and maintaining design systems. The role involves tackling the full design process, from problem definition and ideation to synthesizing data into focused designs and prototypes in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a Product Design role leading design alongside cross-functional peers in Product, Engineering, and Research.
  • Holistic approach to design, from high-level strategy to small design details.
  • Self-starter who is solution-oriented and comfortable defining, scoping, and designing for new opportunities with or without input from others.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present decisions and processes clearly and confidently.
  • Enthusiasm for growth and improvement, openness to feedback, and ability to work well with other designers of all levels.
  • Adaptability and excitement for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced design expertise, showcasing exceptional craft in typography, layout, interactive design, and complex logic and systems.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and prototyping tools.
  • Active, practical integration of AI-powered tools into the day-to-day design workflow.

Nice To Haves

  • A foundational understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Previous experience designing for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), subscription, or digital membership products.
  • Proven experience designing for experimentation, user testing, and A/B testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact customer-facing experiences across the top-of-funnel web ecosystem, including campaign pages, product launches, promotional programs, and subscriber touchpoints.
  • Lead projects from brief through delivery, producing flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Innovate and elevate the Hims & Hers experience with elegant, empathetic, and human-centered solutions.
  • Iterate within established design ecosystems and build new ones from scratch.
  • Champion the user by understanding their needs, challenges, and behaviors through research, testing, and iteration.
  • Participate in customer research and apply insights into innovative and performant experiences.
  • Partner with Design, Product Managers, Research, and Engineering to navigate complex problems and drive projects from start to finish.
  • Develop deep product expertise to become a trusted partner to stakeholders.
  • Guide, inspire, and influence peers and the team with exceptional communication, empathy, and execution.
  • Actively leverage AI tools like Figma MCP, generative image tools, and AI-assisted prototyping to accelerate ideation, sharpen storytelling, and bridge the gap between concept and execution.
