About The Position

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong background in DevSecOps practices, particularly within safety-critical, air-gapped environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in building secure DevSecOps pipelines, containerization, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code. This position also involves cross-functional leadership and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline
  • 5+ years of DevSecOps experience
  • Python & Yaml experience
  • Secure DevSecOps pipelines for safety-critical, air-gapped environments
  • Containerization & Kubernetes (on-prem, disconnected operations)
  • Build environment Tools (make & CMake)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Helm)
  • Linux (RHEL, Yocto, Buildroot)
  • Bitbucket & Gitlab Experience
  • Cross-functional leadership across engineering, security, and IT teams
  • Ability to work onsite 100%

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Proficient with Ansible
  • CI/CD integration with certification artifacts
  • Secure networking & zero-trust architectures
  • Embedded & Real-Time Systems enablement (RTOS, flight software)
  • Familiarity with (DO-178 A-C)
  • Experience communicating and documenting complex technical designs
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel 10%

Responsibilities

  • Build secure DevSecOps pipelines for safety-critical, air-gapped environments
  • Implement containerization and Kubernetes solutions for on-premise, disconnected operations
  • Utilize build environment tools such as make and CMake
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm
  • Work with Linux operating systems including RHEL, Yocto, and Buildroot
  • Leverage Bitbucket & Gitlab for version control and collaboration
  • Provide cross-functional leadership across engineering, security, and IT teams
  • Communicate and document complex technical designs
  • Collaborate effectively in a team-based environment
