About The Position
We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong background in DevSecOps practices, particularly within safety-critical, air-gapped environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in building secure DevSecOps pipelines, containerization, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code. This position also involves cross-functional leadership and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline
- 5+ years of DevSecOps experience
- Python & Yaml experience
- Secure DevSecOps pipelines for safety-critical, air-gapped environments
- Containerization & Kubernetes (on-prem, disconnected operations)
- Build environment Tools (make & CMake)
- Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Helm)
- Linux (RHEL, Yocto, Buildroot)
- Bitbucket & Gitlab Experience
- Cross-functional leadership across engineering, security, and IT teams
- Ability to work onsite 100%
Nice To Haves
- Proficient with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.)
- Proficient with Ansible
- CI/CD integration with certification artifacts
- Secure networking & zero-trust architectures
- Embedded & Real-Time Systems enablement (RTOS, flight software)
- Familiarity with (DO-178 A-C)
- Experience communicating and documenting complex technical designs
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel 10%
Responsibilities
- Build secure DevSecOps pipelines for safety-critical, air-gapped environments
- Implement containerization and Kubernetes solutions for on-premise, disconnected operations
- Utilize build environment tools such as make and CMake
- Manage infrastructure as code using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm
- Work with Linux operating systems including RHEL, Yocto, and Buildroot
- Leverage Bitbucket & Gitlab for version control and collaboration
- Provide cross-functional leadership across engineering, security, and IT teams
- Communicate and document complex technical designs
- Collaborate effectively in a team-based environment
