About The Position

Want to build and operate reliable platforms that help teams deliver great products? You’ll join a collaborative engineering team working at the intersection of development, operations, and architecture. As a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), you will help shape our cloud platform, solve complex technical problems, and turn ambiguous challenges into practical, scalable solutions. You will work closely with engineers and stakeholders across the domain and help raise our engineering standards through knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure.
  • Professional experience with Go (Golang), ideally for automation, platform tooling, or backend services.
  • Understand distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and event streaming.
  • Experienced with automation, infrastructure as code, continuous delivery, observability, security, and reliability.
  • Ability to make sound architectural decisions and explain technical trade-offs clearly.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives and delivering complex work incrementally.
  • Enjoy working with others, sharing knowledge, and supporting the growth of colleagues.
  • Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously look for better long-term solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to architectural decisions, address technical debt, and make pragmatic trade-offs across reliability, scalability, security, and cost.
  • Design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud platforms and services.
  • Improve automation, infrastructure, deployment processes, observability, and operational efficiency.
  • Work with distributed software, event-driven architectures, and event streaming.
  • Break complex initiatives into smaller workstreams and deliver value step by step.
  • Investigate recurring issues and create lasting solutions instead of relying on short-term fixes.
  • Share knowledge, mentor less experienced engineers, and promote collaboration, transparency, and shared responsibility.
