About The Position

Ivo is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Infrastructure team. This role is crucial for building and maintaining the foundation of Ivo's entire platform, ensuring isolated environments for each customer with containers, databases, and VPCs. The engineer will be responsible for managing infrastructure, supporting backend and frontend services, debugging issues across the stack, and improving developer experience. The position is not just about maintenance but actively building the systems that keep the company running, with an encouragement to push the frontiers of LLM technology.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience
Strong expertise in DevOps / infrastructure + some full-stack exposure
Hands-on experience with Pulumi (or similar IaC tools like Terraform), Docker / containerization, GitHub + CI/CD pipelines
Good debugging skills: debugging ambiguous issues, tracing problems across systems

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a startup environment is preferred but not required.
Excited about LLMs

Responsibilities

Build and maintain Docker-based environments across dev/staging/prod
Own and improve our deployment and release pipelines (GitHub Actions)
Manage infrastructure using Pulumi (Infrastructure as Code)
Support backend services (APIs, workers, jobs) and frontend apps (builds, deployments, performance issues)
Debug issues across the stack: infra → backend → frontend
Improve developer experience: faster builds, cleaner environments
Help define and improve CI/CD workflows
Automate repetitive processes wherever possible
