We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure. This position is integral to the development, testing, and successful launch of new and exciting server-based electronic gaming products in our e-gaming division. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent industry certifications or experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years of specialized experience in DevOps engineering.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and EKS.
- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git, Atlassian Bitbucket, and Perforce.
- Strong experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and tools, with expertise in Jenkins preferred.
- Experience working with NuGet and NPM.
- Experience migrating and upgrading existing processes and services a plus.
- Proven experience with infrastructure as code tools, specifically Terraform.
- Experience in automating the creation and automated maintenance of various testing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong scripting skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries, particularly gambling or charitable gaming, is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain our AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.
- Manage and optimize our containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and other relevant tools.
- Utilize Terraform to manage infrastructure as code, ensuring consistency and reproducibility.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate the creation and management of diverse testing environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps processes and practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and security standards.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and eliminate exposure to points of failures.
- Partner with the Cyber security engineering team to respond quickly to new and emerging vulnerabilities, with emphasis on how they affect the build, testing, and tooling environments.
- Perform duties with a strong attention to detail, and in compliance with Arrow International’s policies and procedures.
