The Senior DevOps Engineer will deliver exceptional customer service, acting as a force multiplier to enable development teams to deliver complex software products quickly and efficiently. The role requires embracing and driving change, continuously striving for improvement, and challenging the status quo for long-term gains. We seek self-starters who drive priorities without waiting for ticket assignments. The position involves supporting multiple software products across global environments, identifying and driving opportunities to automate build, deployment, management, and tooling. The engineer will design, deploy, and manage development infrastructure services both on-premises and in AWS, and deliver product deployment automation solutions critical to our software. Enhancing system observability with metrics, monitoring, and alerting is key. The role includes reviewing and recommending tools and processes to improve the software development lifecycle, and guiding developers with best practices, troubleshooting support, documentation, and training sessions. Collaboration in a global, distributed team via video and chat is expected, with occasional travel. This position accepts the hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week, and participation in a weekly on-call rotation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field followed by 7 years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience must include 7 years with each of the following:
Building software automation with Ansible
CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub and Jenkins
Containerization and orchestration using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes
System monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix
Cloud infrastructure management and scaling on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Using Terraform and CloudFormation
Monitoring, observability, and centralized Logging using Datadog, Elasticsearch, and Splunk
