Requirements

  • Ensure platform reliability and resilience by defining and meeting service reliability targets, managing error budgets, and developing/testing disaster recovery plans.
  • Implement and enhance observability across platforms, including monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics, and tracing to provide clear insights into system performance and reliability.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and architecture (AWS), driving continuous improvement, scalability, and resilience of cloud and network environments.
  • Automate infrastructure and platform operations using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices to reduce toil, improve repeatability, and accelerate delivery.
  • Own cloud cost management (FinOps) by monitoring usage, improving cost predictability, identifying efficiencies, and reporting on cloud and software spend.
  • Deliver and support platform tools and features, including participating in discovery, proof‑of‑concepts, build vs buy decisions, implementation, training, and ongoing support.
  • Enable and support software delivery pipelines, maintaining and improving continuous delivery platforms and supporting build, deployment, and release processes.
  • Participate in operational support and incident management, including on‑call rotations, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain high standards of governance, risk, and security, ensuring platforms are secure, patched, compliant, and aligned with audit and certification requirements.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and customers, acting as an escalation point, supporting onboarding and integrations, managing data exchange mechanisms, and collaborating with vendors.
