About The Position

Erias Ventures is seeking a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of VLP/LF/MF/HF/VHF/UHF/Wireless SIGINT survey, collection and geo-location systems and software to include prototypes, development, operational testing, test, and labs systems and products. Requirements

  • A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
  • Twelve (12) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps.
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science; or may substitute four (4) years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree; or may substitute two (2) years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS.
  • Experience with both Arista and Cisco network devices.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible or Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for software deployment.
  • Recent experience within the last three (3) years in Kubernetes.
  • Recent experience within the last three (3) years in cluster orchestration.
  • Recent experience within the last three (3) years containerization.
  • Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+) AND CCNA certification.

Responsibilities

  • System administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of VLP/LF/MF/HF/VHF/UHF/Wireless SIGINT survey, collection and geo-location systems and software to include prototypes, development, operational testing, test, and labs systems and products.
  • Performing network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks.
  • LAN/CAN/WAN administration.
  • Configuring and optimizing the network to connect various front-end and back-end components.
  • Designing solutions, integrating, configuring, deploying, testing and providing ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices.
  • Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting.
  • Building and maintaining pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Managing and configuring Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Management and monitoring of hybrid cloud/virtualized environments.
  • Willing to travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Be available for 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies.
