About The Position

Artos builds tools that help biopharma companies create and manage R&D documentation more efficiently. The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure powering Artos’s platform, with a focus on scaling AWS infrastructure, improving Kubernetes environments, automating deployments, and building tools that increase engineering productivity. This is a hands-on role focused on solving complex infrastructure problems, building reliable systems, and reducing operational friction through automation. The engineer will establish scalable infrastructure patterns and developer-friendly workflows so that engineers can deliver software quickly, reliably, and securely. Artos values pragmatic engineering, thoughtful automation, and selecting appropriate tools without adding unnecessary complexity. The position is based in the Mission Bay office and requires working in person 4–5 days per week. The role is intended for someone comfortable in a fast-paced, intense startup environment.
