Senior DevOps Engineer
About The Position
Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work for our company. The client agency is the Defense Logistics Agency. This role drives strategy, oversees the architecture of continuous integration and deployment, and monitors across technologies. The engineer defines Scrum Agile methodology for large scale clients and serves as the engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment. Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.
Requirements
- Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
- Five (5) year of relevant experience.
- Undergraduate degree required.
- CSP Certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure SA, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
- Experience defining Scrum Agile methodologies for large scale clients.
- Experience in leading DevOps methodologies, implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) Methodologies, and driving automated software development lifecycle toolchain.
- Experience with deployments in both on premise and cloud environments.
- Experience as the engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment.
- Experience with DevOps services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, RackSpace / OpenStack).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, LVM).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., LXC, Docker, Rocket, OpenShift).
