Senior DevOps Engineer (Hybrid) ||| Manassas, VA
About The Position
We are working with an enterprise bank to source a developer to work alongside their software vendor to work on a two-pronged project. You will work closely with product owners and the head of Devops to bridge the gap in skillset between the vendor and the bank. The first part of the project involves building new and existing pipelines in containerization using Docker and Openshift, feeding into the PoC project. Scripting will be done in Python. The second part of the project involves working on a GitLab PoC to go live in Q4, orchestrated from start to finish, in line with Cloudbees software governance. Potentially use this Gitlab project to perform a Github action.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience as a developer in Java
- Proven project experience at Enterprise level
- Knowledge of security configuration
- Worked in a complex governance industry, banking, aerospace, or similar.
Nice To Haves
- Java based engineering team with maven plugins
- Experience with Cloudbees software governance
- Experience with Github actions
