About The Position

Optiveum is recruiting and contracting for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a project for a leading global investment bank, delivered with an international IT services company. The engineer will automate infrastructure with Terraform, support cloud migration, build CI/CD pipelines, and coordinate complex releases across Azure and on-premises environments. The role is full-time and hybrid, with three days per week at the client’s office in Wrocław; this office requirement is non-negotiable. Candidates must live in or within commuting distance of Wrocław. The engagement is offered at 125–150 PLN per hour on a B2B basis, depending on experience, with the cooperation agreement signed directly with Optiveum.

Requirements

Around 10 years of relevant experience.
Advanced Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
Strong Microsoft Azure experience.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, and Helm.
Experience with Linux, scripting, networking, and troubleshooting.
Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Experience with monitoring, incident response, secrets management, and secure engineering.
Experience coordinating complex releases across multiple teams.
Strong ownership and communication skills.
Fluent English.
Polish or EU citizenship, or permanent residence/work authorization valid for at least 12 months.
Must live in or within commuting distance of Wrocław and be able to work from the client’s office three days per week.
Must not have participated in a recruitment process for this IT services partner or the bank in the last 12 months.
