Requirements

  • US Citizenship with TS/SCI and Counter-Intelligence Polygraph clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Expertise with Docker and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Nomad, Docker Swarm)
  • Strong proficiency in Linux system administration
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
  • Expertise with infrastructure-as-code technologies (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and visualization technologies (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack)
  • Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production deployments
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture concepts
  • Experience supporting high-availability and scalable environments
  • Experience working within an Agile Scrum development team
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Intelligent, proactive, and driven to achieve results

Responsibilities

  • Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure environments
  • Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Lead container orchestration and infrastructure modernization efforts
  • Troubleshoot complex production, networking, and deployment issues
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices
  • Drive infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security improvements
  • Support vulnerability remediation and system hardening initiatives
  • Mentor junior DevOps and engineering team members
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment workflows and operational readiness
  • Support onboarding, operational documentation, and environment management
  • Experience with networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTPS, TLS); comfortable diagnosing and resolving networking issues
