About The Position
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Senior DevOps Developer to join its team onsite in Chantilly, Virginia, or Denver, Colorado. The role helps design, develop, and implement critical ServiceNow solutions that support customers’ mission-critical business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 or more years of additional IT experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5 or more years of software development experience.
- Experience working on a large and complex software development project.
- Experience developing Service Catalog and ServiceNow workflows.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash, or JavaScript.
- DoD-approved 8570 IAT Level II certification (for example, Security+ CE), or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Ability to occasionally move around the office to access file cabinets and office machinery or communicate with coworkers, management, and customers.
- Ability to frequently communicate and exchange accurate information with coworkers, management, and customers, including when delivering presentations.
Nice To Haves
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) credential.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer credential.
- Experience working in a DevOps or Agile software development environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop ServiceNow solutions and enhancements using core platform capabilities to support business requirements.
- Develop applications, including configuration, report development, and data migration where applicable.
- Identify and implement best-practice solutions to address client requirements.
- Perform custom development and third-party integrations across the environment.
- Perform unit testing, resolve code defects, and migrate code changes to the production environment.
- Assist with technical design and documentation to ensure platform stability.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow.
