About The Position

Senior DevOps Developer Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), is seeking a Senior DevOps Developer (Level 5) to join our team located in Seal Beach, CA. We are looking for a cloud DevOps lead for our analytics platform who will be responsible for ensuring the cloud infrastructure required for analysts is available 24/7. The ideal candidate will work with the project manager to provide the vision for the entire analytics platform. This includes compute resources, data access, FOSS tools, and custom tools to include how they interact to form a cohesive, robust solution. You will direct the development, build, test, and deployment of highly complex automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions. Expert-level understanding of general infrastructure architecture is required. Key responsibilities include oversight, coordination, planning, and security of all infrastructure including items for which you have no previous experience. Integral to this role is mentorship and building the skillsets required for team to success. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Requirements

• This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. citizenship
• 10+ years of related work experience building and maintaining compute infrastructure
• 5+ years of cloud experience
• 5+ years in a leadership role
• 5+ years managing Oracle DB and Oracle enterprise manager deployments
• RHEL Security hardening and security maintenance

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan work, ensuring on-schedule delivery of a quality product
• Mentor junior engineers

• Collaborate with management to develop and execute business strategies and plans
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and requirements

• Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
• Summary Pay Range: $176,800 - $239,200
