About The Position

Financeit is a point-of-sale financing provider serving some of the largest home improvement and retail organizations in Canada. Our platform helps businesses close more sales by offering customers affordable monthly payment options for their next big home improvement, vehicle or retail purchase. Requirements

• Experience in Ruby on Rails or other Object Oriented languages with modern frameworks
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Redis, RDBMS/SQL, or other persistence technologies
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Curiosity and excitement about technology and continuous learning and development
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Desire to deliver work in an agile environment

Nice To Haves

• experience with our core technologies including Ruby on Rails and Typescript

Responsibilities

• Designing and writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Delivering new features, fixing defects, and improving the existing codebase
• Mentoring team members and modeling best coding practices
• Working closely with other Developers, Product Managers, Designers, Testers and Business Stakeholders to understand and gather requirements
