About The Position

Concur Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Developer at our Bellevue, WA location responsible for managing Concur Expense platform APIs and asynchronous expense processing. This role involves building new features, addressing critical client-facing issues, and contributing to the future of Concur’s technical architecture. The developer will also assist with refining team standards and processes, build enhancements for spend aggregation and reconciliation microservices, and collaborate with colleagues to solve customer issues and requests. Responsibilities span all aspects of software development, including design, development, and operations, utilizing diverse cloud technologies and building automation to test product functionality. The goal is to ship secure, stable, high-quality code for customers and contribute to architecture and planning for new projects and features, while also assisting and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Object-Programming
  • Java and Spring framework
  • Utilizing database technologies including MySQL and MSSQL (4 years experience required).
  • Utilizing commercial cloud computing technology including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle (3 years experience required).
  • Contributing to architecture and planning for new projects and features (3 years experience required).

Responsibilities

  • Build new features, address critical client-facing issues, and help design the future of Concur’s technical architecture.
  • Assist with refining the team’s standards and processes.
