About The Position

TekWissen is seeking a Senior Developer (.NET Core) for an 11-month temporary assignment with a global professional services firm specializing in digital transformation, business process management, analytics, and AI-driven solutions. The role is onsite in New York City, NY.

The developer will build microservices-based architectures using .NET Core and contribute to cloud, platform engineering, CI/CD, and AI enablement. The role also involves creating system design diagrams, evaluating new technologies through proofs of concept, and communicating recommendations and trade-offs to the team. The position requires close collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on .NET Core development experience building microservices-based architectures.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL or relational databases.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud and Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code).
• Expertise with Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong ability to produce system design diagrams, including sequence and deployment diagrams.
• Proficiency in AI-assisted coding for delivery acceleration, with secure engineering practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design, quality gates, automated testing strategy, release strategies, and environment promotion.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience in the financial services domain.
• Experience with Java and Kotlin for building services, integrations, or platform components.

Responsibilities

• Build microservices-based architectures using .NET Core.
• Create system design diagrams, including sequence and deployment diagrams, to communicate architecture and integrations.
• Use AI-assisted coding for code generation, refactoring, and testing while following secure engineering practices.
• Establish safe AI development standards, including prompts and playbooks, and governance for AI-generated code and proofs of concept.
• Promote AI adoption through demonstrations and enablement.
• Create proofs of concept for new technologies and present recommendations and trade-offs to the team.
• Contribute to CI/CD and platform engineering, including pipeline design, quality gates, automated testing strategy, release strategies such as blue/green and canary, and environment promotion.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders.
