About The Position

The Senior Developer will code and test application programs, provide application support to internal customers and update complex system configuration artifacts. The Senior Developer will also produce business requirements, functional and technical specifications, test plans and implementation plans. The Senior Developer will participate and assist in system technical designs and software evaluations. • Phoenix Policy Management System Configuration
• Advance Rating Technologies (ART) Programming
• iHub WebMethods Integration Server
• Informatica Workflow Development and Support
• Deep understanding of the working knowledge of the IT Organization and business systems that they support
• Understand the Platform business objectives and maintain strong working relationship with business partners and stakeholders that they support
• Lead and mentor team members in support of business analyst deliverables, understanding and incorporating industry best practices/standards
• Lead and facilitate dynamic and interactive requirements gathering sessions with their business stakeholders
• Independently perform process analysis, create and develop quality business and functional requirements and create user stories using the models appropriate for both the customer and project (process models, prototypes, data flows etc.)
• Develop and Author test strategy, test plans and test cases efforts and leads testing efforts
• Execute test cases, report test results, and work with the busing to define severity and priority for each defect
• Develop strategies and best practices for QA, regression and UA efforts
• Assist senior members to incorporate the business vision into the technical roadmaps for the systems they support
• Ability to document the "as is" state and collaborate with the team to develop solution options and the "to be" state documentation
• Maintain proficient knowledge of business and technical domains and assist senior Business Analysts to evaluate solutions
• Support continuous improvement by gathering and incorporating successes and lessons learned into best practices and future enhancements
• Develop situational analysis and decision making abilities
• Possess good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders of all types across the organization
• Ability to communicate difficult or sensitive information
• Conducts themselves with transparency and learns to manage own development

• Participate and assist in system technical designs and software evaluations
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise for the following areas: Phoenix Policy Management System Configuration, Advance Rating Technologies (ART) Programming, iHub WebMethods Integration Server, Informatica Workflow Development and Support
• Deep understanding of the working knowledge of the IT Organization and business systems that they support
