About The Position

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining Loomis customer-facing and business-focused products and applications by gathering and analyzing requirements, architecting solutions, and ensuring rollouts are successful. Individuals in this role will be responsible for conducting thorough requirements analysis and delivering high-quality software components that meet business needs. The individual will be responsible for thoroughly documenting and supporting deployed software components and will participate in and/or lead all facets of the software lifecycle. The individual will be technically challenged to deliver high-quality software in a timely manner. The developer should have excellent professional and communication skills and a willingness to work under rapidly changing priorities. A passion for technology and a high level of aptitude will enable the developer to succeed.

Requirements

Expert-level competency in C# 4.0+
Expert-level competency in SQL
Experienced with LINQ
Experienced with .NET 4.0+
Solid working experience in the web stack: ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and other web technologies
Experience with writing Unit Tests (with nUnit or equivalent)
Experience planning & executing large integration tests across multiple environments
Solid understanding of n-tier Architecture
Solid understanding of OOP
Experience with large-scale applications
Demonstrable experience developing solution architecture
Leadership experience throughout the software lifecycle
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Self-starter requiring minimal supervision/direction and takes responsibility for work produced
Ambition to provide exceptional value to the business by building and supporting great applications
Passion for building great applications using the latest technologies
Experienced in problem-solving and follow a methodical implementation process
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; handle diverse situations, multiple projects, and rapidly changing priorities
Team player willing to wear multiple hats during the project life cycle
Ability to communicate with internal and external customers at all levels
7+ years in software development utilizing C#, SQL Server, and the .Net platform
Quality systems implementation experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Must be willing to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
Must be willing to commit to the overall product and business
Must be willing to help support teams to ensure the overall success of the product and the company
