LocalStack is headquartered in Zurich/Switzerland, with a small engineering office in Vienna/Austria and remote team members from 25 countries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Developer Advocacy, Developer Relations, Technical Evangelism, or a comparable outward-facing technical role.
• Strong hands on experience in cloud and cloud native development (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, GCP etc)
• Experience building meaningful external partnerships through channels such as joint events, co-published content, and webinars.
• Experience being a link to a product, engineering and GTM org, delivering valuable market insights and turning them into new product/product features
• Familiarity with agentic SDLC workflows and the role of local sandboxes for AI agents

Responsibilities

• Be LocalStack's visible face in the developer community.
• Maintain a consistent, high-cadence speaking presence at the meetups, conferences, and community events that matter in San Francisco and broader global developer community, reaching a steady rhythm by the end of Q1.
• Build a regular slate of LocalStack events in the region.
• Plan, host, and run LocalStack gatherings (meetups, workshops, hackathons, developer dinners).
• Build ecosystem partnerships through co-created content.
• Become a known peer to the region's community leaders and dev-tool companies, and co-create content, events, and webinars.
• Publish technical content on a regular cadence (blog posts, tutorials, videos, sample projects), contribute to the docs, and build partner demos or reference integrations that show real developer value and contribute to a broader DevrRel team.
