About The Position

This role involves hands-on coding, development, and unit testing using Java and J2EE technologies. The Senior Developer will design, develop, and implement scalable web-based microservices applications using Spring Boot and other Spring technologies. Collaboration with technical leads and architects is key to understanding technology direction, architectural standards, and development best practices. The position requires developing highly scalable and distributed microservices applications to support enterprise business requirements, following approved software development life cycle methodologies, and preparing design documentation and technical specifications. Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, and implementing application components, conducting unit and system testing, and ensuring application performance meets expected operational standards. The role also involves designing, coding, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and enhancing complex enterprise software applications, as well as participating in the design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of software solutions. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to distributed and cloud-based application environments, and developing, testing, and implementing complex global enterprise applications supporting large-scale systems are also part of the role. Ensuring adherence to coding standards, security practices, and software development guidelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile development environment are essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related fields.
  • Five years of experience in a related occupation.
  • Experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and other Spring technologies.
  • Experience with Spring Framework, including Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring Cloud, and Spring Batch.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable web-based microservices applications.
  • Experience in developing highly scalable and distributed microservices applications.
  • Experience with software development life cycle methodologies.
  • Experience in coding, testing, debugging, and implementation of application components.
  • Experience in conducting unit testing and system testing.
  • Experience in designing, coding, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and enhancing complex enterprise software applications.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to distributed and cloud-based application environments.
  • Experience in developing, testing, and implementing complex global enterprise applications supporting large-scale systems.
  • Knowledge of coding standards, security practices, and software development guidelines.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities
