Requirements

• Ability to understand, read, and program in classic ASP and ASP.net as well as HTML and Angular.
• General Network, Server, and Telecommunications knowledge/understanding.
• Understanding of Systems Security protocols and vulnerabilities.
• General desktop support related to hardware and software in a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, BCIS, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience
• 5+ years of relevant and progressive professional experience in software application development, product management, or business systems analysis
• SQL query skills against multiple databases such as, Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism to communicate effectively with employees, adjusters, agencies, agents, the State Departments of Insurance, and the general public.
• Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Business Process Knowledge – Understanding of the related activities or tasks that are needed to produce a specific service or project.
• Analytical Thought Process – Ability to think in a logical, step-by-step manner and come to a conclusion or solution to a problem.
• Problem Resolution – Awareness of the need for problem resolution, the ability to identify and gather the critical resources needed to make a decision, and the facilitation skills to bring the group to an overall consensus.
• Negotiation – Ability to reach an understanding, resolve points of difference, or gain an advantage to satisfy a project or business need.
• Familiarity with relational database concepts and client-server concepts.
• Ability to apply an understanding of one tool to other similar tools.
• Ability to identify major tools in the marketplace and describe how they are used in any given situation.
• Knowledge of and ability to use most of the major features of a tool.
• Understanding of how a change to a component affects the system as a whole.
• Actively participates in the creation of the technical design and architecture for feature(s) of a product.
• Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment.
• Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
• Developing analytical skills as well an aptitude for decision-making and problem-solving.
