Requirements

5+ years of design experience in kitchen or closet design.
Advanced knowledge of 2020 design software.
Ability to read and scale residential and commercial blueprints.
Ability to multi-task and deal with a multitude of interactions both internally and external to the company.
Strong attention to detail.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Nice To Haves

Associates or Bachelors degree in Interior Design or related field.

Responsibilities

Generating advanced creative designs and channeling visions into workable solutions.
Receiving new bid requests from home builders, remodeling contractors, and homeowners to send to Administrative Assistant for entry into company system(s).
Completing complex cabinet or closet designs using 2020 or Studio software.
Completing complex countertop quotes using CKF Pro.
Scheduling appointments and assisting customers independently with design selections and showroom visits.
Overcoming and troubleshooting client objections to budget and/or design.
Preparing plans for jobsite measure and revising plans to accurately reflect final measurements to ensure product fit, which may include visiting jobsites to do field measures.
Completing orders with minimal errors and submitting through appropriate ordering system(s).
Verifying product acknowledgements with other Senior Designers or the Design Center Manager to ensure order accuracy.
Applying advanced customer service skills when interacting with customers via phone, email, or on the showroom floor and providing exceptional service to customers.
