As a Senior Designer on the USAA Member Experience Design team, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping secure, seamless, and trusted user experiences across authentication, credential management, profile recovery, and overall protection for members and our association. This role partners closely with product, engineering, and security to define and innovate for highly complex identity and access experiences that balance usability, safety, and scale. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in designing system-level experiences, leading through ambiguity, and translating security and risk requirements into intuitive, human‑centered solutions that protect users while empowering their journeys. You will also drive work within high-performing, cross-organizational teams by applying advanced knowledge and experience in the practice of human-centered design. Synthesize the work of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unified design vision for complex Member and Employee experiences in a data-informed, agile environment. Demonstrate the value of design by building trust-based relationships that influence the alignment of stakeholders across projects, teams, and functions. We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
