Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
3+ years of relevant work experience in a design environment working with materials, trims, design, and fit.
Demonstrated passion and understanding of trend and visual culture.
Knowledge of apparel product creation, garment construction, and finishes.
Strong communication and presentation skills across a variety of formats.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and comfortable working within evolving digital spaces.

Responsibilities

Create and develop seasonal design concepts for NikeSKIMS Apparel.
Work across a variety of apparel products and collections while partnering with an exceptional design team to help shape the future of NikeSKIMS Apparel.
Collaborate with a team of designers, developers, product managers, and merchants to bring seasonal creative concepts to life in line with the NikeSKIMS design ethos.
Deliver innovative product solutions while meeting cost requirements, deadlines, and consumer needs.
Partner with category team members across Design, Development, and Merchandising to ensure the feasibility of designs while supporting product creation timelines and merchandising objectives.
Apply and perform design skills such as drawing/sketching, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing and scale, visual presentation development, and layout.
Identify opportunities to elevate apparel product through craft, construction, and thoughtful design solutions.
Contribute diverse perspectives while supporting an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
Articulate design concepts and translate insights into compelling product solutions.
Manage multiple projects and priorities.
Stay connected to sport, culture, fashion, and consumer insights, bringing fresh perspectives to the team.
Contribute to creating products that inspire confidence, movement, and self-expression for women around the world.
