As a Senior Designer, you will contribute to shaping the future of healthcare by infusing design excellence into all Ro touchpoints. This role involves tackling conceptual challenges and maintaining a high level of craft in design work, with a specific focus on creating iterative and net-new performance-driven paid social content across various platforms. You will join a creative team passionate about making a difference in healthcare, emphasizing user empathy, authenticity, and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be driven to build a brand and design work that empowers individuals to make informed health decisions, believing in design's role in making health information accessible.

Requirements

  • Experience designing against key performance metrics such as click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate (CVR), and CAC.
  • Demonstrated history of executing work that contributes to and exceeds key business goals.
  • Portfolio showcasing clear examples of direct response marketing, including paid social ad video and static assets, and iterative testing examples.
  • Excellent visual design craft with stylistic breadth, attention to detail, and an obsession for pixels.
  • Strong foundation in type, space, form, color, and visual hierarchy.
  • Proficiency in Figma, AfterEffects/Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong working knowledge of advertising fundamentals.
  • Passion for learning about new platforms and technologies.
  • Extensive experience creating dynamic, engaging short-form content tailored to platform-specific formats (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), with a strong understanding of transitions, motion graphics, and sound editing.
  • Experience playing an integral role in launching effective, stunning paid social work.
  • Ability to ideate multiple concepts and directions while maintaining focus on business and user goals.
  • Deep understanding of social media nuances and content performance across different platforms.
  • Great perseverance and an iron-clad work ethic; willingness to do whatever needs to be done.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a relevant role.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and create visually captivating paid social content (static, video, GIF, etc.) that drives conversion and user engagement while communicating brand messaging, measured against metrics like CTR, CVR, and CAC.
  • Brainstorm and create a high volume of new ad concepts, leveraging performance insights and growth metrics to identify patterns, distill insights, and form hypotheses for creative iteration.
  • Own paid social workstreams, developing templates and frameworks for efficiency and infusing the Ro growth ecosystem with fresh, brand-aligned creative.
  • Partner with a conceptual copywriter to introduce new ways to express the brand and explore new ways to express ourselves on platforms like Meta and TikTok.
  • Stay engaged with the latest design and social media trends, technologies (including AI), and industry best practices to enhance creative deliverables.
  • Bring ideas from concept to execution independently and collaboratively, creating and iterating on a high volume of creative quickly.
  • Partner with external partners and freelancers as needed.
