About The Position

FAM Brands is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Sr. Menswear Designer to support the design process for assigned categories, focusing on menswear design for the Banana Republic Licenses. The role involves contributing fresh ideas, maintaining accurate product information, and collaborating across multiple teams to bring licensed designs to market. The ideal candidate is passionate about apparel design, trend research, and product execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, Product Design, or a related field
7+ years of experience in design, with a focus on menswear preferred
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with strong digital design skills
Demonstrated experience working with PLM systems (Centric PLM strongly preferred)
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sharp attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with mass market and licensed brands is a plus

Responsibilities

Support the design process for your assigned category, taking products from concept to final creation.
Maintain all style and design information in our PLM system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Work closely with sales, senior design, and merchandising teams to ideate and develop new product concepts.
Create design presentations and product specifications for new product lines using the PLM system.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, sourcing inspiration for the brand’s menswear collections.
Develop detailed technical sketches and specs for products, ensuring clarity for vendors and production teams.
Collaborate with manufacturers to confirm that final products align with design specifications and standards.
Participate in fit sessions to guarantee garments meet design, brand and quality requirements.
