Landor is seeking a Freelance Senior Designer, 3D for their Cincinnati studio. The Freelance Senior Designer, 3D will focus on designing physical environments for retail, hospitality, services, and entertainment, enhancing brand experiences through 2D and 3D consumer-facing design. This role involves collaborating on medium to large projects that require multiple specialized disciplines, creating original design solutions, and developing the work of others.

Requirements

7+ years of experience designing retail spaces, trade shows, exhibitions, hospitality environments, etc.
Creativity and new ideas.

An understanding of lighting and its effects on our eyes, minds, and moods; interest in lighting technique and fixture construction.
A fascination with the presentation of merchandise and the experience of service.
Working knowledge of materials and construction processes and details.
The ability to plan, enhance, and section.
Interest in the next generation of visualization of designed environments and experiences: AR & VR.
Command of the common tools of our trade: Pens, pencils and tracing paper.
AutoCad.
Sketchup & Vray or other Hi-res rendering engine.
Adobe creative suite.
Hand drawing and sketching skills are highly valued in this studio.
Must be local to Cincinnati studio.
