About The Position

At Fieldpiece, quality isn't something we inspect after a product is built - it's engineered into every design from the very beginning. As our Senior Design Quality Engineer – Hydraulics & Pressure Systems, you'll partner with Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Product Engineering teams to ensure our pumps, pressure systems, and other electro-mechanical products meet the highest standards for performance, reliability, and durability before they ever reach the customer. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll influence design decisions, develop verification strategies, validate prototypes, investigate failures, and help engineering teams build products right the first time. If you enjoy solving complex technical problems and making products better before they launch, you'll thrive here. This position is in our Orange, CA office with an exciting move to Tustin, CA in 2028. This role follows a hybrid work schedule, with employees typically working onsite three days per week. Additional in-office days may be required from time to time for onboarding, training, team meetings, project collaboration, or other business needs.
