Pratt & Whitney's Cold Section Engineering Support to Operations (CSE ESTO) organization is looking for a self-motivated and detail-focused Senior Design Engineer. In this role, you will be supporting the analysis and production of rotating hardware for commercial engines.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 5 years of Engineering experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of Engineering experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Engineering degree.
- Experience working in the Aerospace Industry in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous Design or Manufacturing experience.
- Working proficiency with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, Siemens NX.
Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee day-to-day activities for production support, quality issues, supplier transitions, and Class 2 Engineering Changes for rotating hardware.
- Identify areas of waste within the production support process.
- Continue to challenge current processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support and analysis for production investigations.
- Capture ESTO lessons learned.
- Drive continuous improvement into the product development cycle.
