About The Position

Are you ready to join a growing engineering consulting firm with a strong and expanding gas utility team? Entrust Solutions Group is increasing its presence in Indianapolis and seeking a skilled Sr. Design Engineer to support natural gas infrastructure projects. In this role, you will work within our Public Improvement team, collaborating with project engineers and designers to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions across the full lifecycle of natural gas distribution projects. Responsibilities include reviewing public improvement plans, preparing engineering designs, performing engineering calculations, designing pipeline routes, developing construction estimates, coordinating with government agencies such as INDOT and local municipalities, and providing field support as needed. You will also supervise select projects, coordinate schedules, facilitate internal and external communication, conduct peer reviews, and mentor junior engineers. This position is ideal for a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, solid project management capabilities, and the ability to work independently. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, or petroleum engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Must have valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional project visits.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in natural gas utilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pipeline and/or facility design
  • Experience in transportation or general utility engineering is also acceptable.
  • Registration as an EIT (Engineer-In-Training) or Professional Engineer
