About The Position

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, development, integration, and validation of electrical subsystems for server, storage, networking, and rack-level platforms. This role works across architecture, system, firmware, mechanical, and validation teams to deliver robust electrical designs that meet product requirements, manufacturability expectations, and customer quality targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in electrical design, hardware development, validation, or related engineering work.
  • Working knowledge of electrical fundamentals, schematic capture, component selection, and lab-based debug methods.
  • Experience in using common lab equipment and electrical debug tools such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, and meters is required.
  • Familiarity with server, storage, networking, or other complex hardware products is required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in support of engineering execution and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Support board-level and subsystem electrical design activities, including schematic development, component selection, circuit analysis, and design documentation.
  • Review product requirements, specifications, and design targets and translate them into electrical design inputs and execution plans.
  • Assist in bring-up, validation, and debug of electrical designs, including issue triage, data collection, and root cause analysis.
  • Support electrical analysis activities such as power integrity, signal integrity, and design verification as required by the program.
  • Collaborate closely with system, mechanical, thermal, BIOS/BMC, and validation teams to ensure integrated product behavior and timely issue closure.
  • Contribute to design reviews and document technical risks, assumptions, design changes, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Support BOM development, component lifecycle considerations, ECO execution, and design-for-manufacturability alignment with operations and suppliers.
  • Provide clear and timely communication of design status, risks, blockers, and technical findings to project stakeholders.
