About The Position

The Boeing Company is hiring for a Senior Design and Analysis Engineer (Electrical Systems Design) located in Hazelwood, MO. Effectively work on a diverse team that partners with customers both internal to Boeing as well as external. A willingness to learn. We’re a team with lots of domain experts to learn from. You will also interact with engineers in multiple disciplines outside of electrical engineering. Apply general knowledge of electronic/electrical systems or subsystems and components including operating principles, design variables, performance, and key interfaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
• Level 4 (Senior) : 9+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s or 7+ years of work-related experience with Masters or 4+ years with a PhD
• Ability to travel up to 10 percent
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
• A final Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
• Ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Nice To Haves

• Active Secret Clearance or higher (Active within last two years)
• ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Responsibilities

• Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
• Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
• Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
• Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
• Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
• Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs
• Makes recommendations for technology investments
