About The Position

Sequen AI is seeking a Senior Deployment Strategist to collaborate with customers on the adoption and deployment of their technology. This role bridges engineering, product, and go-to-market functions. The strategist will work directly with clients, assisting them in translating their needs into functional systems and ensuring they achieve sustained value from Sequen AI's offerings. This position is not a typical account management role; it combines aspects of a technical advisor, product partner, and operator, where judgment and execution are equally important.

Requirements

7–10+ years of experience in Deployment Engineering, Technical Program Management, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, or a similar role.
Experience working with APIs or developer-facing platforms.
Strong technical foundation with a clear understanding of system architecture and integrations.
Ability to articulate analytics concepts like A/B testing.
Proven ability to engage and build trust with both low-level engineers and business executives.
Demonstrated track record of driving software adoption, usage, and measurable customer success.
Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with AI/ML systems, Large Language Models (LLMs), or large-scale data platforms.
Exposure to consumer-facing integrations, particularly within retail, travel, or media/entertainment sectors.
Proven track record in fast-growing startups or early-stage, fast-moving environments.
Familiarity with modern cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities

Provide first-in-class, white-glove communication to customers.
Develop a deep understanding of customer goals, systems, and constraints.
Act as a trusted partner in designing and deploying AI-powered workflows.
Assist customers in transitioning from initial experimentation to reliable production use.
Support customers integrating with Sequen’s API systems.
Provide guidance on system design, prompting strategies, and performance trade-offs.
Help diagnose issues and unblock adoption in practical, hands-on ways.
Guide technical implementation and usage across enterprise infrastructures.
Act as a voice of the customer, translating needs back to the product team.
Identify patterns across customer usage and challenges.
Communicate feedback to product and engineering teams to ensure real-world relevance.
Take ownership of customer outcomes and drive long-term customer success.
Identify expansion opportunities and grow Sequen's digital footprint.
Maintain strong relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.
