About The Position

Cricut is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to support the International S&OP Process. This role involves actively contributing to the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance on demand forecasts and supply plans. The Senior Demand Planner will partner with regional and global teams to balance demand requirements with supply chain capabilities and business priorities, and prepare and present demand and supply insights to aid decision making. The role also includes developing and maintaining demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, market trends, and commercial inputs, monitoring forecast performance, and proactively identifying and resolving demand-supply imbalances. Collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, supply planning, and customer supply chain teams is crucial, as is supporting new product launches and transitions. The Senior Demand Planner will also identify opportunities to enhance forecasting tools, analytics, and planning methodologies, drive automation and standardization, and analyze demand data and KPIs to improve forecast accuracy and optimize inventory levels. Providing actionable insights to senior leadership is also a key responsibility. Finally, the role involves collaborating with supply planning and supplier management teams to ensure demand forecasts align with production schedules and capacity constraints.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in an analytical discipline such as Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science.
5+ years of proven experience in planning or a related role.
Proficiency in ERP and MRP planning systems.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and interpretation.
Ability to effectively communicate Supply Chain insights to non-Supply Chain stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong ownership mindset to understand the business and drive opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
Candidate must sit and be located in the Netherlands.

Nice To Haves

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo, Qlik) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the International S&OP Process by actively contributing to the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance on demand forecasts and supply plans.
Partner with regional and global teams to balance demand requirements with supply chain capabilities and business priorities.
Prepare and present demand and supply insights to aid decision making.
Develop and maintain demand forecasts at multiple levels (product, region, customer, channel) using statistical models, historical data, market trends, and commercial inputs.
Monitor forecast performance and continuously refine assumptions to improve accuracy.
Proactively identify and resolve demand-supply imbalances in collaboration with supply planners and supplier management teams.
Partner with sales, marketing, finance, supply planning and customer supply chain teams to incorporate market intelligence, promotional plans, and strategic initiatives into the demand plan.
Support new product launches, transitions, and end-of-life planning by aligning demand forecasts with inventory and production strategies.
Serve as the demand planning subject matter expert for assigned categories.
Identify opportunities to enhance forecasting tools, analytics, and planning methodologies.
Drive automation and standardization initiatives to improve efficiency and data integrity.
Promote best practices and foster a culture of data-driven planning.
Analyze demand data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, improve forecast accuracy, and optimize inventory levels.
Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to inform data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with supply planning and supplier management teams to ensure demand forecasts align with production schedules and capacity constraints.
Contribute demand insights during supplier reviews and planning discussions to enhance end-to-end supply chain performance.
