About The Position

The Senior Delivery Manager, Enterprise Delivery Office supports Director-level leadership in the end-to-end management of projects within the Enterprise Delivery Office (EDO). This role is accountable for day-to-day project execution, coordination across workstreams, risk and issue management, and delivery governance. The Senior Manager partners closely with business, technology, and external vendors to ensure programs are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget, while progressively maturing delivery practices and ways of working.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of project or program management experience, preferably within financial services or large enterprises
  • Hands-on experience with Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex delivery plans, dependencies, and risks
  • Experience supporting large technology or business transformation initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Exposure to enterprise delivery frameworks and governance models
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, ACP, or equivalent certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day planning and execution of project initiatives, ensuring alignment to approved objectives, milestones, and delivery plans.
  • Work closely with business, technology, and delivery partners to manage expectations, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans, schedules, RAID logs, and dependency tracking across multiple workstreams.
  • Identify, track, and escalate risks and issues with clear mitigation strategies and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Prepare accurate and timely status reporting for Director and VP-level forums, including financials, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Support delivery within Agile, hybrid, or waterfall environments and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery standards and practices.
  • Track project budgets, forecasts, and vendor spend; support cost control and resource planning activities.
  • Ensure adherence to Enterprise Delivery Frameworks, technology standards, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Support scope, schedule, and priority changes by analyzing impacts and facilitating informed trade-off decisions.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to project managers and analysts; contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.
  • Understand and apply the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day decision-making and delivery activities.
  • Promote effective and efficient operations aligned with Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct, and operational risk expectations.
