Position Summary: This individual serves as the central coordination point for the Global Operations Emerging Technology portfolio, driving portfolio governance, roadmap execution, stakeholder alignment, and Model Risk Management (MRM) readiness across multiple AI initiatives. The role partners closely with senior business and technology leaders to ensure strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans, dependencies are proactively managed, risks are addressed early, and initiatives progress through governance and approval processes efficiently. Operating at the intersection of portfolio management, AI governance, technology delivery, and business transformation, the Portfolio Lead is responsible for building and managing the management systems that enable successful execution. This includes establishing governance forums, operating cadences, performance metrics, prioritization frameworks, intake processes, approval workflows, and reporting mechanisms that provide transparency and accountability across the portfolio. The role serves as the central integration point across business, technology, risk, compliance, legal, and enterprise governance stakeholders, ensuring AI initiatives are aligned to strategic objectives, regulatory expectations, Responsible AI principles, and enterprise standards. Through executive influence, portfolio leadership, and operational rigor, the Director enables informed decision-making, accelerates value realization, and helps drive successful execution of the Global Operations AI strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technology delivery, portfolio management, or product management.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale portfolios in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, forecasting, and variance control.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Global Operations, Shared Services, Data, Analytics, or Solution Architecture domains.
  • Experience with regulatory, risk, and compliance-driven initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as JIRA, financial management systems, and intake/reporting platforms.
  • Experience driving process transformation and operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery of large programs, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
  • Broadens relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk
  • Establishes target outcomes in partnership with stakeholders and leaders
  • Tracks success metrics and provides status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, performance, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Collaborates with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
